The UMGCCC CRTEC Department Trainee Travel Award

These awards cover up to $500 each, towards the cost of attending and presenting UMGCCC cancer research at a national or local meeting. 

Eligible: Postbaccalaureate Trainees, Pre-Doctoral Students (PhD, MD, MD/PhD); Post-Doctoral Trainees (MD & PhD); Early-Stage Investigators, Early Stage Investigators, Junior Faculty (Instructor or Assistant Professor); Research Associates; Residents; and Research Fellows. 

Application Materials: Trainees must provide a copy of the submitted abstract, a copy of the acceptance of your abstract for presentation from the Conference (this can be sent later if you do not have it at the time of your CRTEC travel application) a copy of conference registration materials with fees and estimated travel costs and a letter/statement from your UMGCCC Mentor with approval for the conference travel. Funding of the award is contingent upon acceptance of your abstract from the Conference. ALL travel has to be submitted through Concur for reimbursement unless you are a UMM employee. You are responsible for arranging your own travel and submitting a travel request through your department's Admin team.
